In 2021, we extended support to Afghan refugees arriving in the U.S. by providing essential items to help ease their transition. Our care packages included women’s hygiene products, children’s backpacks, medicine, moisturizers, water cans, tea and snack items. These supplies offered comfort and essential care during a difficult time, reaffirming our commitment to aid those in need.
In 2022, under the umbrella of Baitul Ilm Academy, the Dua e Zehra Foundation responded to the devastating floods in Pakistan by launching a Disaster Relief & Rebuild Fund. With approximately 33 million people affected, including 16 million children, and over 2 million homes damaged, the need for urgent support was immense. Our goal was to raise $100,000 to construct 100 prefabricated homes in Kot Diji, Sindh, each providing two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. This initiative aimed to restore a sense of stability and dignity for families who lost everything. Through generous donations and community support, we worked tirelessly to bring hope and relief to those impacted by this disaster.
